Doug is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana where he participated in NOLA’s famous street music, second lines, and parades as a trombone and bass trombonist. He has played with The Baton Rouge Symphony and various brass ensembles including The Gumbo Dozen, Bonearama, and Bout’ It Brass Band. Doug received a Bachelor’s of Music in Bass Trombone Performance from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2010, and has been teaching beginning to collegiate level brasswind since 2004.
