"Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Chelsea Cline began playing the violin at three years old. In the summer before she began highschool, Chelsea attended the prestigious Meadowmount School of Music which fueled her passion to pursue a professional career in music. She went on to become Concertmaster of both her highschool orchestra and her all-state orchestra, and was selected to play in the National Youth Orchestra of the United States in 2017. In 2018 she moved to Georgia to attend the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings on a full scholarship, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Artist Diploma in violin performance. Chelsea is an avid orchestral performer, currently performing as a substitute violinist with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Opera Orchestra, Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, and Savannah Philharmonic. She has been teaching violin lessons for the past eight years, and is in the process of completing her Suzuki Association Teacher certification. She has also taught at the Otis Redding Foundation in Macon, Georgia. When she is not practicing, performing, or teaching, Chelsea enjoys being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and cat named Tofu.
