At any point while renting a student band instrument, New School of Music rental customers are able to apply 100% of net rental payments* (up to 24 months) toward a select step-up or professional grade instrument. Once this credit is applied, step-up instruments may be rented using our rent-to-own plan or purchased outright, and professional grade instruments are available for outright purchase only. * Net monthly rental payments are the total monthly rental payments less tax and M/R fees. Many of our select step-up and professional grade instruments are also eligible for 6, 9 or 12 months same-as-cash financing. New School of Music also offers Instrument Maintenance Agreements starting at $80 per year.
