Mr. Bear can be found on numerous recordings and has toured the east coast as well as Japan with several groups. He is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a degree in Classical Guitar Performance.

David Schroeder, Double Bass, Bass Guitar, Piano, Guitar
David Schroeder studied electric bass under Russ Rodgers and Oteil Burbidge of the Allman Brothers Band. He has continued his 14+ year music career playing a supporting role for local artists, touring, and recording music. David also plays double bass with experience performing second chair in the GSU Symphonic Orchestra, Jazz Big Band, Morehouse College Big Band, as well as various smaller ensembles. David started his music career on the piano and guitar. He is currently finishing up a degree in Jazz studies/music performance at GSU. David’s style of instruction is to provide the student with a strong foundation in music language and guide him/her through carefully planned programs tailored to the student's skill level and musical tastes.

Lola Cole, Voice, Guitar
Lola Cole studied performing arts, with a focus in voice and stage performance, at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. After returning to Atlanta, Lola has hosted and shared stages with some of Christian Music's and Atlanta's top artist, including JJ Weeks Band, Rend Collective, LeCrae, Black Linen, Ruby Woo, Jimi Cravity and Kari Jobe. Lola continued her training in stage performance and voice with famous coaches, Tom Jackson and Brett Manning. She recently was a main performer at SXSW 2016, in Austin, TX. She is an active solo artist in the Atlanta community and is furthering her education with Berklee School of Music. She is also involved in the teen and college ministries at Passion City Church. She is an energetic, enthusiastic instructor. She believes in giving life to the natural born gift of singing and movement.

Marina Dmitriyev, Violin
Ms. Dmitriyev has over 30 years of teaching experience with Traditional and Suzuki methods. Her philosophy is that the gift of music is for everyone and strives to bring out the best in her students. She started playing violin and piano at age 5 and received her Violin Performance and Teaching degree at St. Petersburg (Russia). Some of the groups she has performed with include the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Buffalo Opera Company, and Fredonia Chamber Player in addition to other professional and community orchestra.

Michelle Hung, Bassoon, Piano
Ms. Hung attended Taipei National Univ. of the Arts and Tunthai Univ. in Taiwan and received a degree in Bassoon Performance. Michelle started performing on the piano at the tender age of 6. She later began study on Bassoon and excelled to principal chair of various groups that performed extensively in Asia and Europe.

Jim Greer, Piano
Mr. Greer began teaching here in 2005. Previously Mr. Greer toured for 17 years in the U.S., Europe, and Asia as Founder and Director of the Internationals, a vocal and orchestral ensemble. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Music Education. His students benefit from learning all styles of music with emphasis on classical, using both Suzuki & traditional methods.

Mr. McConnell was a student of Dave Cobb & Gerald Inskeep, former members of the United States Army Band. He graduated Cum Laude from James Madison University with a major in Music Education. Some of his instructors included Kevin Stees and Gerald West. After serving eight years as an instrumentalist/ soloist with the Army Ground Forces Band, he left active duty to teach in the Dekalb school system but continued his military music service in the 530thAir Force Band which he served as commander/conductor and musician from 1997 till his military retirement in 2013. He has performed for Presidents, Vice Presidents, Governors, Four-Star Generals and appreciative audiences across the nation.

Dalia Elkounovitch, Piano
Dalia Elkounovitch finished the Chernovitz State College of Music in piano playing, continued the education in Kazan Conservatory (USSR) and completed the Tel-Aviv Academy of Music. Concentrating in Piano Performances she continuedher musical education in Johannesburg (South Africa) and received the Performance Diploma and Master of Arts at the University of Witwatersrand. Dalia teaches students of all levels and ages and incorporates the Russian piano playing technique of classical music and performance practices.

Patricia Ewing, Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, Oboe
Ms. Ewing has a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from The University of Georgia and a master’s degree in Clarinet Performance from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She was the principle clarinetist in the Symphonic Orchestra as well as in other groups. She won a concerto competition at GA State and IU. Ms. Ewing has been teaching privately for over 25 years. She currently plays her clarinet in the Atlanta Community Symphonic Orchestra.

Wade Wright, Suzuki Piano
Wade Wright has taught classical and Suzuki classical piano, jazz piano and Church music in the Atlanta area since 2000. She is a Bachelor of Music Education from Samford University, and enters students in National Guild, GMTA, TMTA, and Federation yearly adjudications and competitions.

Jennie Visscher, Piano
Ms. Visscher received a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from University of West Georgia where she later continued studies through workshops in Pedagogy and Piano Performance. She has taught private piano lessons for more than 24 years to a spectrum of students ranging from beginner to college level. Jennie is a long-term member of MTNA, GMTA, and other festivals and competitions.

Robert Trocina, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone
Mr. Trocina received a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Kennesaw State University and completed further studies at Georgia State University. He studied orchestral conducting under Thomas Wubbenhorst, Patricio Cobos, William Fred Scott and Steven Byess, and trumpet/brass performance under Mark Hughes, Jim Thompson and Stephen Winnick. Mr. Trocina is co-founder of New School of Music (1997), Music Director and Conductor of Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra (1997), and Music Director and Conductor for Northeast Atlanta Ballet (2008).

Mr. Ross is a professional musician and teacher with over 25 years of experience. He taught as an adjunct Professor ofJazz Guitar at Miami-Dade Community College, and also taught as a general music teacher for the Broward Public Schools in south Florida and for the Cobb County DistrictSchools in the Atlanta area. He studied guitar privately for 15years with Vince Bredice. He studied Early Music of theRenaissance period with Joseph Iadone, a disciple of Paul Hindemith, and attended seminars in Jazz Guitar with gendary guitarists Joe DiOrio, Tal Farlow and Jack Wilkins.His philosophy of teaching is to help the student play the music that he or she wants to play and give the student a practical understanding of their instrument and music theory.He teaches the skills that enable the student to apply themselves to all forms of music.
