Eva Lewis, Bassoon, Flute, Piano
Eva Lewis has been playing music for twenty years, beginning on piano at age 3. She began playing flute in elementary school and finally settled on “the instrument she would base her life around”, the Bassoon. Eva expects to complete her Bachelor of Music Performance Degree in Bassoon at GA State Univ. in 2013. Eva has played with MYSO & ASYO as a youth, and with GA State Univ. Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Orchestra as a college student. Eva currently studies under Michael Muszynski. She believes in tailoring her teaching method to suit each individual student’s personal learning style.

Don Gardo, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, Trumpet
Don Gardo graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Trombone performance from GA State Univ. and was privileged to study with retired Atlanta Symphony principal trombonist, Harry Maddox, and tubist, Michael Moore. Don has also performed with ASO, Savannah Symphony, Colorado Philharmonic, and Spoleto Festival Orchestra, to mention a few. He was principal trombonist with the Virginia Symphony and Opera Orchestra. Don has almost 30 years of teaching experience and believes that making music is an art form. He balances his artistic musicianship with technical studies that help students achieve their musical goals.

Charles Lee, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Oboe
Dr. Charles Lee earned a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Univ. of TX, a Master of Arts from NY Univ., and a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music. Charles boasts a list of performance accolades and has studied with the best in the business throughout his career. He enjoys helping students excel at their band curriculum as well as tailoring lessons for those who don’t participate in school band. He strives to help students build confidence for chair auditions, competitions, and performances. Careful nurturing of each student helps students maximize their growth potential and abilities. Charles works closely with students in choosing music that is both fun and challenging.

Kelly Harlow, Voice, Piano
Kelly Harlow earned a Bachelor of Administration Degree in Music, Vocal Pedagogy & Performance, from Charleston Southern University and has taught voice and piano since 1990. Kelly also has stage and large-scale production experience. She has served on many praise & worship teams and was more recently School Administrator for Mount Pisgah School of Fine Arts. Her responsibilities included teaching private and group voice & piano, as well as theory and sight-reading.

Phil Ehrmann, Trumpet
Phil Ehrmann holds the Bachelor of Music degree in trumpet performance from Northwestern University in Evanston, Il. where he studied with Charlie Geyer and Barbara Butler. Phil currently holds the position of 2nd trumpet with the Hilton Head Symphony. Other orchestral experience includes performances with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the orchestras of Macon, Jacksonville, and Charleston. He welcomes the opportunity to work with students of all levels.
